My Story
After working in education for most of my adult life, I made a decision to switch into the mental health field in order to connect with people in a more intimate one-on-one setting to help others find more healing and growth in their lives. After getting my second university degree I swore I’d never return to school, but I found myself in my 40’s back in school once again pursuing a degree in clinical mental health.
As a neurodivergent ADHDer, I’m proud of the academic accomplishments I’ve carved out in my life. And while those credentials may give me some credence in certain circles, that isn’t what makes my coaching sessions special. At different times in my life I’ve been a father, a husband, a pastor, an entrepreneur, a teacher, a coach, a school administrator, and a therapist. It’s the combination of my lived experience with my mental health knowledge that allows me to craft personalized coaching sessions that meet my clients needs.
When I’m not spending time with my clients, I’m likely somewhere outside on a walk, in my kayak, or on my bike exploring the southeast coast. Although I might just as easily be binge watching the latest hit show on Hulu. Of course I might be haunting the streets of Savannah in search of the city’s best taco.

Change does not happen magically at the snap of a finger. Positive change with growth and healing comes when a person puts in the work to understand their past, honestly acknowledge their present, and plan thoughtfully for their future.

For most of us, life is a series of situations in which we wear a variety of masks to play our assigned roles. But I believe that humans find true joy in the discovery and expression of our true authentic selves.

By creating a safe, non-judgmental space, I aim to cultivate authentic presence, encouraging clients to explore their inner wisdom and strengths.
My methodology intertwines research based practices, my client’s unique strengths, mindful self-awareness, along with consistent compassionate encouragement. This eclectic blend allows for a holistic understanding of my clients’ diverse needs, enabling me to offer comprehensive support. I prioritize collaborative goal-setting, guiding clients toward practical steps while empowering them to trust their intuition and capabilities.
